ENTJs Can Be Intimidating
Additionally, people have a hard time dating ENTJs because they’re intimidated by them. ENTJs really don’t mean to intimidate anyone but their manner is super direct, they know what they want, and they’re efficient. ENTJs hate wishy-washy. They’re firm in their convictions and in the way that things should be done, so they’re not going to say, “I don’t know, man. How do you want to do it?” They’ve already thought this out and don’t see the point in considering how others feelings would factor into something.
ENTJs Aren’t For The Weak
They can also be intimidating because ENTJs make weaker people painfully aware of their weaknesses. If you’re insecure, you stand in contrast to a person who is commanding and certain of themselves. So, a relationship with an ENTJ is not for someone who struggles with a lot of insecurities. Simply, they need people who are strong, have a good sense of self, know what they think, and aren’t going to get easily offended.
ENTJs Aren’t Villians
Finally, jealousy of the power of the ENTJ can be responsible for why they are vilified in traditional Hallmark movies. People don’t understand that it’s not that they don’t value you or they don’t have their values in the right place; it’s just that they’re certain of their values, and they have a strong way of going about achieving their goals. They want to be better, and they want to make other people better. The truth hurts sometimes, and ENTJs are here to tell it. They’re respectful people. They don’t mean to hurt anybody’s feelings. However, they can easily offend accidentally or not really worry that they did offend someone.
